What we collect, and when

Adding an event. the event details you typed, plus your name and email so we can confirm it went live or ask a question. Your name and email are never shown publicly. The raw submission record is deleted after 90 days; the email stays with the listing while it is listed and goes when the listing is removed. If you upload a flyer or poster, the image is stored with the listing.

Reporting a problem. the text you write.

Weekend Plans email. your address and language, kept until you unsubscribe. We use it only to send that email, and an address you never confirm is not emailed again.

Remind me. your browser's push address, kept until the reminder is sent (the record is cleared within two days after) or the event is over. It holds no name or email.

Organiser account. your email, name, and a password we store only as a one-way hash.

When a page breaks, we log the page address and browser type so we can fix it. No account or IP address is recorded with it.

Visits, cookies and your IP address

No advertising networks, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking. We count page views and clicks on ticket, map and calendar links as anonymous totals with no identifier attached. Our host, Vercel, provides cookie-less Web Analytics and Speed Insights: anonymous aggregate figures about visits and page speed.

We never store your IP address. To slow down abuse we keep a salted, daily-rotating hash that cannot be turned back into an address or matched across days.

The only cookie is a sign-in cookie, set only if an administrator or organiser signs in. Your browser also keeps, on your device only, your light/dark choice and small flags for the install prompt and the reminders you set, and the events you save to My list.

My list lives only in your browser. we have no account for it and keep no copy. When you open it, the page asks us for the current public details of the events on your list (so a cancelled event shows as cancelled), and we keep nothing from that request.

The Near me button on Today, Tonight and Tomorrow asks your browser for your position only when you tap it. The position is used on your phone to put the closest events first. It is never sent to us, stored or logged.

AI and other services that handle data for us

Two features send what you give them to Anthropic's Claude: a flyer photo (with any note or link you add) that you upload to fill in an event, and a question typed into Ask that our own rules could not read. Please leave personal details out of both. A reviewing assistant also reads the title and venue of new submissions to spot duplicates; it does not receive names or emails. Nothing else you send us goes to AI tools.

Vercel hosts the site, Neon holds the database, and Resend delivers our email. They process data only on our behalf.
